Food for Thought

I seem to be having trouble "blogging" lately . . . not sure what it is. I'm going to aim to update once a week for now and if I do more, well good for me! I have had lots of posts in my head, they just never make it to the screen.

I have been working hard at trying a new recipe per week. And I have found some new favorites, that I thought I'd share with you. As I try a recipe and find that we like it, I make a little card, that eventually I'll print out. Maybe in a 52 recipe cookbook for myself :) I'll show you the recipes and at the bottom there is a link to download them, if you are interested!

SPLIT PEA SOUP (Good for cold winter days, lots of protein and veggie wonderful-ness! Passed my "I hate veggies" Brother test! GET IT HERE

Pecan-Crusted Chicken Tenders- adapted from Prevention Magazine, taste great with a dish of honey with some mustard squirted in! GET IT HERE

Raspberry Muffins- created when I peaked into the freezer and found 1/2 a bag of leftover raspberries and nothing to do with them. These are delicious, but they are really only good the day you make them. SO, either 1/2 the recipe or make them and share them! GET IT HERE

The chicken with pecans sounds good, I think I'll fix it for dinner tomorrow.
