Happy Birthday Shannon

Yesterday my precious miracle baby turned 4! Hard to believe it's been four years since we welcomed this long-awaited baby to our world . . . born into a tub of water after 12 hours of labor, born with bright blue eyes looking up at us quietly. I prayed so long for God to "let me get pregnant with a beautiful baby girl" and in daily amazes me how gracious he was to so wonderfully answer that prayer.



We had a lovely day yesterday- special time as a family and special time with all her Ranch Family- little friends and wonderful staff who are like real Aunts & Uncles to her. We started the day with this wonderful sunrise gift from God, to Shannon:



After staff meeting, we had her "family presents" - sheets from Gramma, a quilt and a bed from us! Really! Jeremiah has been working so hard on this amazing surprise for Shannon! Check it out . . .









All the boys want Jer to make them beds like that, too :)

Then all Shannon's little "friends" came over for a small (and quick . . .these things turn wild, fast!) birthday party. Yes, in our yard. Friends, it was 80 yesterday!
