Friday?

Somehow I didn't realize it was Friday until tonight. Wow, I'm out of it! Tonight I wanted to do a quick post and share a few fun finds! I've been looking and looking and planning and planning for Shannon's little birthday. We're doing a very simple "birthday tea party" with her two little Ranch friends. BUT being the craft-lover that I am, I have to plan and make . . . . and in the process I found some great sites to share with you!

Beautiful {felt} heart garlands for Valentine's day or other special occasions.

Party Ideas

Look at that amazing ribbon backdrop and that beautiful doily sign! Ahhhh, too many pretties and not enough time :) Shannon and I did paint clothespins and I have a zillion doilies that I think we'll make a "happy birthday" or "shannon" sign for her party. Poke around Amy's blog for a bit, lots of beautiful styling.

Amazing Party Ideas

Best collection of party ideas I've ever seen . . . don't say I didn't warn you when you get stuck paging through more eye-candy than you've ever seen.

To narrow it down a bit- all the posts with "kids party" tags:

Forget healthy. These are so good we ate all 12 yesterday. Okay, so I ate most of them.

Tissue Paper Flowers

http://www.marthastewart.com/how-to/tissue-paper-pom-poms-how-to?backto=true#slide_0

Anyone else make these as a kid? Or am I too old? I bought a ton of pretty & cheap tissue paper from the dollar store today to make these for Shannon's party, too!

Okay, that's it for today. I need to get settled down for the night so I can be a reasonable person to be around this weekend. Yeah.

from Mom: where do you think you learned tissue paper flowers??? I made them as a kid out of tissues (as in blow your nose). In October I made dozens of huge ones out of wonderful tissue paper for our missions carnival. cheap, and showy!!! I wish I could come to Shannon's party!!!!
